Cleanse and Tone
Properly cleansing your face twice a day is a necessary step for everyone despite your skin type. Use a skin type appropriate cleanser to wash your face morning and night. Then, follow with a toner to ensure that all the dirt has been removed and that there are no traces of face wash left over.
This step is only to be done at night. In the morning, skip to the next step. At night, after cleansing and toning, apply an exfoliant formulated for oily skin, such as the BeautyRx Exfoliating Serum. Exfoliating your skin regularly (think everyday!) will help remove the top dead layer of skin cells that can clog your pores and cause you to breakout even more.
This step targets your active breakouts directly. Use a topical acne treatment such as a 10% benzoyl peroxide directly on your spots, morning and night. You should of course apply your sunscreen first in the morning.

Remember, with any skin care regimen, patience and consistency are key. Follow this routine and you should start seeing clearer skin in just a few weeks.
