The BeautyRx Tetrafoliant 8% Peel Solution (previously known as the Essential 8% Exfoliating Serum) is a starter-strength, lightweight, oil-free 8% AHA/BHA next-generation Tetrafoliant® glycolic treatment that removes dulling dead cells to reveal brighter, softer, healthier looking skin. PRODUCT DIRECTIONS: In the evening after cleansing, apply enough drops (4 - 6) with fingertip to cover entire face. Can I use this serum with a moisturizer, or should I purchase the Essential Exfoliating Cream?

Yes, you can use a moisturizer with the Tetrafoliant 8% Peel Solution if you feel that your skin is tight or flaky after application - or if you enjoy the temporary improvement that moisturizers provide in the appearance of fine lines.
The Tetrafoliant 8% Peel Solution is appropriate for all skin types, especially since it is a starter-strength exfoliant. However, if you have extremely dry skin, you may want to use the Essential Exfoliating Cream, which has a more moisturizing base.

Does the serum come in larger sizes?

BeautyRx by Dr. Schultz:

All BeautyRx exfoliants are sold in sizes intended to last approximately one to two months. While the Serum is small, less is more when it comes to this product, and it only takes four to six drops to cover your entire face. That means that there is enough serum in the container for a month and a half to two months use.

Is it okay to use this product if I am also using a low-strength prescription retinoid (Differin)?

BeautyRx by Dr. Schultz:

We do not recommend the use of any other exfoliants when using a BeautyRx exfoliant, whether they be retinoids, BHAs, scrubs, or anything else. BeautyRx exfoliants provide sufficient and optimal exfoliation, and adding another exfoliation would unnecessarily risk irritation from over-exfoliation.

Of all the products, I find this one the most effective for anti-aging skin. I use it with Nourishing or Soothing Moisture Cream at night. Makes my complexion more youthful and vibrant.

Flawless glow

The 8 % peel is a mild but effective exfoliate, with no irritation but just a bit of tingling to let you know that it's working. After a week or more of using it, my skin looks much smoother & brighter. This is a safe peel with no down time. I do love it!

I've suffered from painful cystic acne for years. I ran across this product while doing some research and I'm loving the results. My skin feels smoother after a week and I haven't had any flare-ups. The bottle is very small, so be mindful of how much you use.

INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE

As a working mom of two who recently turned 40, I am increasingly concerned with preserving the soft and supple characteristics of my skin while also nourishing and strengthening it. Dr. Schultz is undeniably the best - the results really do speak for themselves. This peel solution is 1 of 4 of what I consider his powerhouse products - my skin looks and feels great. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup and it is important to me that my skin is clear, firm, and glowing whether I'm in the board room or picking my daughter up from school. My skin looks great

Fantastic product. I have been using Dr. Schultz's products for awhile and I believe my skin looks years younger than friends I have had since childhood who only use over the counter products! I actually did not mind going to my 50th high school reunion this year!
