Did you know that Ethyl alcohol, known as regular alcohol, is the same alcohol that's in alcoholic beverages like wine? We don't recommend drinking it like regular alcohol, however, since the alcohol used in skin care products has chemicals added to create a bitter taste. He also addresses the question, "Why is alcohol used in skin care products anyways?" There are two main reasons - to solubilize or dissolve other ingredients and to help deliver other ingredients to the skin once they've been solubilized.
