Patience is a Virtue, Especially in Skincare

Evolution, Not Revolution

When you get your hands on a new product, do you feel as if you are holding your skin's future miracle, only to be disappointed the next morning when your face looks more or less the same? That's because there is an ingredient missing from your "miracle" product that is preventing it from working: patience. As Dr. Schultz would say, this process should be about "evolution, not revolution," which means that your products need more than just a few days to take effect.

Results Revealed

If you are starting a regimen to deal with acne breakouts, you need to wait at least a week to decide if the regimen is working for your skin. And for facial rejuvenation, such as introducing a glycolic, it is important to wait up to four weeks to look for results. One important thing to note, however, is a regimen should never cause your skin to get worse before it gets better.

So, while it's hard to wait, give your skincare a few weeks to show results before deciding if it's the right regimen for you.
